_CASE STUDY 001: JON WARREN

Now that the wait is over and Spring goods are in stores, we felt it appropriate to give our close friends and extended family a dedicated post to showcase how exactly Spring 12 would fit into the wardrobe of their definition of the “modern renaissance man.”

Now, without further adieu, we introduce the Case Studies: an introspective view on individual interpretations of GPPR. To help us kick things off, here’s our good friend Jon Warren, Head of  Vans footwear design for Classics, California Collection & Vault, to give us a glimpse of how he thinks GPPR fits into the bigger picture.

“As a guy, I spend too much time getting ready in the morning, it’s something I’ve slowly become OK with. That being said, I’ve been growing tired of standard chambray tops and have been looking for more playful menswear. When Bam approached me about getting some GPPR pieces, I wanted to get an iconic piece from him. I’ve been wearing the dark ‘Jackson’ star pattern shirt, mixing khaki pants cuffed for a flood and of course Vans. For me I’ll change up my accessories on the daily, but standard issue is a bandana in the back pocket and vintage time piece. My wife always teases me saying I spend a lot of time to look like I don’t care… funny shit, because I do.” – Jon Warren
